What is Angel Food Ministries?
With a heart to help others and a generous spirit, Joe and Linda Wingo founded Angel Food Ministries in 1994 to provide food for friends and neighbors who were struggling financially. Today the Angel Food program now is helping provide food relief to more than 500,000 families each month.
There are many varieties of food boxes starting at $22, which include an all meat, all fruit & vegetable, allergen-free, or boxes just for seniors. The standard Angel Food box is available in a quantity that can fit into a medium-sized box at $30 per unit. Each month's menu is different than the previous month and consists of both fresh and frozen items.
Comparison shopping has been done across the country in various communities using a wide range of retail grocery stores and has resulted in the same food items costing from between $42 and $78.

- All boxes are prepaid and must either be purchased online or payment brought to Center of Hope by the final order date each month.
- Food stamps may be used to purchase a box at the Center of Hope office only.
- Boxes can only be picked up on the set date and times each month.
- Any boxes not picked up on that day will be donated to the Center of Hope to give to client families.
