COH/Keller Williams Realtors celebrate 'RED DAY'

(Renew, Energize, Donate - R. E. D.)

Keller Williams Realtors found a wonderful way for an energetic group of people to help families in our community in a very tangible way.

Keller WilliamsThey distributed over 5,000 sacks, empty sacks with printed material in several local neighborhoods one afternoon. A couple days later, they returned and picked up sacks waiting by people’s front door. In one morning, they picked up over 10,000 items for Center of Hope.

Over 17,000 items were collected for Center of Hope by Keller Williams Realtors food drive and tables set up at S. Main Wal-Mart.

“RED DAY is a celebration where we can Give Where We Live,” says Jodi Stuth, Keller Williams Realtor. “We encouraged everyone to participate ‘cause it’s fun to help others!” Thirty Realtors and friends distributed over 5,000 sacks to collect food in local neighborhoods.

Their energized group arrived at Center of Hope for a tour to get an understanding of how the Center impacts their community with more than meals and groceries. “We were impressed how clients can come and shop for groceries at the Center,” stated Realtor, Cathy Jones. “I was glad to see the computer classroom as well.”

Keller Williams Realty celebrated RED DAY (Renew, Energize, Donate – R.E.D.) by adopting Center of Hope food pantry.

They also organized a table at S. Main Wal-Mart where Center of Hope staff, volunteers, and clients collected food and donations.

“It was a great day for our community,” comments Center of Hope Executive Director, Paula Robinson. “When people come together to help others, it makes a difference in many lives.”
