Parker County Center of Hope is a Christ-based 501c3 organization dedicated to reversing the cycle of poverty in Parker County through our offices in Weatherford and Aledo. We currently offer the following programs to our neighbors in need.

1. Food Bank- distributes 1000+ carts of groceries to over 500 families each month
   
   
2. Limited financial aid for utilities, prescriptions, and rent
   
   
3. Daily meals prepared and served restaurant-style by Churches of Hope on a rotational basis, over 1,400 meals a month.
   
   
4. Computer classes and GED classes
   
   
5. Bible studies
   
   
6. Housing program which places single moms and children into homes where they receive intensive, life-changing mentoring for 1 ½ to 2 years.
   
   
7. Career Closet - mentoring women who are making a change in careers or embarking on a new career

We openly share the gospel with our neighbors, but in a gentle way. We never refuse services based on an unreceptive ear.

We need volunteers in all of the areas mentioned above, and, in addition, there are always opportunities in the office for administrative work or to help during special events.
